Our Story

Established in 1937, the Bendigo Highland Pipe Band has been a cornerstone of the Bendigo community for nearly 90 years. As the city's longest serving pipe band, we have proudly carried the traditions of Scottish music through generations of pipers and drummers.

Over the decades, the band has played at countless Anzac Day marches, community festivals, memorial services, and cultural celebrations. Our distinctive sound — the soaring drone of the pipes and the thunder of the drums — has become a familiar and beloved part of life in Central Victoria.

Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for this unique musical art form. From experienced players to beginners taking their first steps, the band is a welcoming family.
